Back To Square One...

The past couple of years haven't exactly been the smoothest for me and before i get into this blog i would like to apologise to anyone who has ever read this and who got mad at me for not continuing and taking my 2 year break, I am sorry.
But good news is I'm back and promise to be as consistent, true and hopefully interesting as i can be (thanks to my friends who convinced me into coming back) and so please enjoy my new "welcome back blog" which i hope gives an idea of some new and developed opinions that i have formed over the past couple of years :)

OK, so if there is anything iv learnt from my long and complex break is that life is unpredictable..

after shifting my entire continent in what still feels like an overnight impulsive decision often playing its after effects on my life... Sydney where I currently live seems to be the perfect answer to my prayers for that little "extra something" I was looking for most of my life in Dubai. Though it is interesting that as most unexpected wishes that come true in life, this too had come at a price and i guess understanding if that price was worth it had been my primary question for the past few years.

The answer as iv recently realised is perhaps wayyy more simple than I expected it to be.. but then again most of the answers to my often unnecessary questions seem to be that way... and I guess the best way to put it is - "YES".

What made me come to my great realisation you may ask??

il keep it simple and say - TIME , yes folks its true what they say.. this bitter sweet friend is the b**** that we all need :)

We all know the grass is always greener on the other side but what you must know is that even appreciating that new found greenery takes some time.

I say this because in this journey we call life (which often feels like a never ending walk through a big scary forest - wild and uncertain as can be), it is all about instinct and intuition.

When it all comes down to something that's so primal yet intimate in nature you gotta pay attention !

My point is, there is no map , there is no instructor guiding you and there are no rules,

there is you , your choices and their consequences but I can assure you one thing, from what iv learnt every step you take with every consequence that follows good or bad is worth it.

You see, when most of us are confused and tired waiting for some sort of break in sight we are all thinking the same thing "ARE WE THERE YET?"

what me must realise (and I say 'realise' and not 'remember' because this is news to most of us out there and in no way would I ever assume this to be common sense) that not only is life about a journey to a destination but it is also as I believe a metamorphosis to an identity, YOUR identity.

Simply put you don't just travel through your life to learn a lesson, rather you travel through your life, learn the lessons you need to learn to reach your destination so that one day you may become the person that you are meant to be.

So even though the book remains the same , the chapter always changes and at the start of each new day we all really do get "Back To Square One" I guess :P

A pretty big lesson I know from a journey you all know soo little about , but I guess that's where I'm going to leave it to keep the mystery alive and to keep whoever reads this out there coming back ;)

Until then - hang in there and get creative life is too short to be anything but innovative ;)
